 Woo Who...Happy Dance...Happy Dance. I was at the pool yesterday when I heard that.... Guess what???? We are getting a Big Lots yes thats right a Big Lots, It is going in on 674 up near 75 where the old Publix's was, in the parking lot next to Goodwill and where Ozzies Bar and Grill is by the Tax Office. Isn't that just wonderful for our community.... the only thing better would be a Micheals or Jo Ann Fabrics for us crafters!!!! Yee Haw

 I am glad you like the message board Shirley Black, I am looking forward to meeting you! We do have lots going on all the time. My thought is you can be retired and be as busy as you WANT to be. I am sure you could fine someone to play scrabble with, I use spell check all the time, so I'm not a very good one for that game unless we use small words...LOL C U in Nov.

Just wanted to say how much I'm enjoying reading the messages on this board. I'm renting a mobile in the park in Nov. and can hardly wait to get there.The messages give me a sense of the park atmosphere and the variety of activities.(I hope someone likes to play scrabble) See you in Nov.

 Hi, everyone! We have ANOTHER change with regards to the new addresses. In converting the account sheets we have found it to be an accounting nightmare. We have like or exact numbers on several streets. For example, there is a 1725 Wheelhouse Circle, and the same number on Gangway Loop and Moonraker Drive. We have a 2510 on Scuttlebutt, Turtleback, and Bosun. These are just to name a few. Sooooo, we are going to use account numbers, the old lot numbers. Please note in the Memo section of your checks "Account #.....", using the Lot #. Thank you all for your patience while we muddle through these changes. Have a great summer!

The Clubhouse Kitchen Band looks very interesting.
I manage a band from Newfoundland, Canada.
They are called FitZ.
I plan on bringing them to Fla. this fall.
I have promoted them on myspace. so far we have had over 100K hits.
I know you can't post websites, but if you Google, Cardboard Condo, FitZ, Treasure Island Gold...you will find them.
I would gladly upload a couple songs to the Park residents if they contact me.
I have recently finished working on a book called, SAX MAN,..about the life of Johnny Paris (SAX) of Johnny & The Hurricanes.

 I talk to a lot of people who look at this web site and when I say something about the Park Activities calendar. I am ask where is it??? It is at the bottom of the home page…. NEXT MONTH September I WILL PUT THE CALENDAR ON A SEPARATE PAGE OF ITS OWN. Please note I am adding new pages all the time. Read the buttons you click on for the new pages.

Shirley Nichols is doing a wonderful job on our library and puzzles sections in our Rec. Hall... She has just added a new section for load out VCR tapes and DVDs. The Honor system applies. Please be kind and rewind Bring back in the same condition. Report mishaps or broken tapes to office. Great Job Shirley!

 Just a note to say our loaded baked potato turned out great... We had a little minor problem with the oven, but with my helpers they pulled it off. 23 people had loaded baked potato, with salad, roll and jello with cool whip all for $3.00 each. Chuck Stumpf won 50/50 $8.00. $7.00 went into Act. we made a small profit of $18.80 thanks to all who came AND HELPED!!! I COULDN'T HAVE DID IT WITH OUT YA'LL!!!!!!!!!

 I talk to Gail and the post master said we will be using the same boxes for a while then they will switch them over. Inside your old box will be your new address. You will have your mail forwared from 1701 or 1702 for up to a year. This way we get use to the new address as well as the postal personal. Then the boxes will be set up by streets and address. I hope this answers your question Carol. thanks Renee I know this is a huge to do, but in the long run it will be best for all of us!
