With Renee gone on vacation I guess I am taking on the Chulavista photography job for awhile. George and Vera Baker at Lot 38, on Quarterdeck Lane, have a cactus blooming at the side of their place. It is HUGE and GORGEOUS! Looks like there are more to come, too!

This is a personal note about the SWINE FLU. We now have 2 cases in lee county Florida. Willie and I were watching TV at the hospital. People buy things with paper and coin money all the time. ALL MONEY IS NOT ONLY DIRT BUT CARRIES LOTS OF GERMS, 19 STATES NOW HAVE THE SWINE FLU. PLEASE BUY HAND SANITIZER AND USE IT WHEN HANDLING MONEY. ALSO WASH, WASH, WASH... BE SAFE NOT SORRY. I LOVE THE CHULA FAMILY WAY TOO MUCH FOR SOMETHING TO HAPPEN THAT YOU COULD HELP PREVENTED. GOD BLESS LOVE, RENEE

Thank you Dorothy and Ron, Yes Willie is in the hospital, He got really sick while taking antibiotics. He was not eating or drinking. He went to the Doctors on Wed. the doctor put him the hospital for serve dehydrating to start getting fluids back in him. Willie said if he could keep down "BEER" he would NOT have been dehydrated. With the IV and the change in his High blood pressure meds he is doing much better. He should be home Sunday or Monday. He has lost 18 pounds in 2 weeks. He is back on solid foods and is doing very well.

Well we finally moved to an apartment and it feels good to have a place to call home. Things are moving (however slowly) on the house. Hope to have it torn down in a couple weeks. My youngest grandson and I are working on the final inventory of the stuff totaled that is still in the house. What a messy yucky job. But somebody has to do it. We had rain for a couple days but the temperatures have been in the 70's and even some 80's. take care everyone

Well I have finally unpacked everything. I don't know how you do it after a 6 months stay!! I want to thank everyone for making our visit so enjoyable, especially Clyde and Lee. We could not have had a better time - except it be longer!! You are a very heartwarming group. Ron is already talking of coming back next year. I am so thrilled he liked it. He has settled back to line painting and I have a head cold - Welcome Home! Anxious to return next week to stay with Shirley for another week.
