 Palm trees are being trimmed as I type this! Look at what was trimmed from the tree next to my house! Theyt will be back around to clean up later.

Just a note on Dave Boorsma, the doctor took three biopsies on Dave's lung and they will know in two weeks the results. He will probably get to come home in 3-4 days.

 Plans for the celebration of Independence Day are: Sunday July 3, 7 PM, at the Clubhouse Mercy is playing for us! Yeah! They have requested that everyone wear patriotic colored clothing if you have it. July 4th - BBQ! Ribs, chicken, and all the fixin's! Put on by the Park and Park employees, with a lot of help! 5 PM at the clubhouse. Bring your own table settings. See all y'all there! PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP! SO WE KNOW HOW MUCH FOOD TO BUY! THANK U

Gary and Gloria Wahr (lot 9) will be leaving here in the AM. Has been wonderful to have them here if only for 4 days. They brought an Indian couple who minister to the villagers in northern India. What a joy it has been to meet them.

the chulavista pidnic will be july 13th at my house 2281 West E Avenue. Marie is going to have some surgery so we are moving it for this year. sure hope you can make it. marie will be sending out the information.

Carole Don got along fine with surgeries and is planning on heading home fairly soon. Dave is doing ok, he is going to have a byopsy on his lung and see what medicine he can take to slow down his illness, but he mows his yards and everything else he wants to do. They just got back from graduations in Michigan and they had a really nice time.

Yes Carole, we have a full array of activites and fun in this park. The 4th of July Chuck and Gail and the park workers put on a huge barbque paid for by the owners of the park for all the residents! A lot of work but well worth it! I love the Chula Family and every thing about this park!

Thanks Carole, Last month Nadine Baumerts daughter Karen and her husband stopped in and today "Babe" Delaneys daughter Carolyn and her husband stopped by. She said Babe had knitted over 9,000 baby hats and had lots of bags and boxes of yarn left when she passed on! They all said to say Hi~
