This is a very sad day as I just read about losing Bernie! I was so hoping we would have another winter with him. Proves you should not put things off or take things for granted. We are praying for Marylou and the family. I know our Chula family will miss him very much. When we purchased our home I told Gail I would not buy unless we received a "Bernie Pie". When Bernie found out he made one right away! A very special man.
And now Phil! My heart goes out to you Sheila! I can't imagine your trials but we will keep you and Phil in our hearts and prayers! Another good man, so many good men and women at Chulavista. We count it a priveledge to get to know you and count you as part of our family!

Bob Carroll is continuing to get better since bypass surgery. he is doing rehab and back to driving the car now. sorry to hear of those who have passed on. we will keep their families in our prayers. Happy 4th to all the chula family. we look forward to seeing you when we return ths fall.
